About Larry Wittig

Drawing on more than 43 years of experience, Larry Wittig is a Certified Public Accountant who leads as the senior partner with a Pennsylvania-based firm. Supplementing his extensive history in this capacity, Larry Wittig maintains membership with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a bachelor of science and a master of business administration with a concentration in accounting from Drexel University.

In addition to his pursuits in the financial sector, Larry Wittig is the president of Environment Awareness Corp., Inc., and Tamaqua Transfer & Recycling Inc., the latter of which has serviced municipalities, businesses, and individual residences in Northeast Pennsylvania since 1998.

Involved in a variety of civic pursuits, Wittig is particularly passionate about education. He is the president of the Tamaqua Area School District Board, and he served as a member of the State Board of Education from 2001 to 2017 and as chair from 2011 to 2017. Additionally, he is a former member of the Schuylkill Education and Economic Advisory Council and the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Academic Standards.
